Wake County residents who are representing themselves in child custody cases are invited to attend this seminar at the Wake County Legal Support Center to learn from two family law attorneys. The event will be held in-person at the Wake County Legal Support Center, located in the Wake County Courthouse at 316 Fayetteville Street, Room 125. This is a free event open to the public and does not require registration. Attendees will learn about:

• Preparing an initial custody filing
• How, what, and where to file
• How to serve a complaint
• The difference between temporary and permanent custody
• What to expect on court day
